Port assignment challenge

I just swapped my Scarlett audio interface from 6-in to 8-in (to be clear, just counting the 1/4: jack inputs). I have added 2 tracks to my baseline Mobius session... but as the screen shot shows, the Audio Port options in the session are grayed out for these new tracks. Also, in System Configuration, when I attempt to change the number of plug-in ports from 8 to 10, I can type over the 8, but the setting reverts to 8.

Still working in Cantabile, in which I have added the input ports for the Mobius VST. It is not impossible something is awry with that, but I don't think that is the problem. Any ideas? Am I missing something obvious?

I’m pretty sure anything greyed out means it’s temporarily edit-locked. If you click the setting text, it should turn orange and be adjustable again.

Many thanks @alexs1 ! That made it possible for me to select ports for the added tracks.

No problem! Also, you should be able to increase the number of ports in the standalone and then it will save them and carry over in the VST. Think it might be a current bug where you can’t change the number of ports directly from the plugin.
