overdubbing over a track in reverse

I remember the way I had reverse setup in 2.5 was that when I was overdubbing over a track in reverse what was overdubbed was preserving its opposite direction, so that when I pressed reverse the original track was playing straight and what i overdubbed resulted in reverse.
Is this function still available?

Sorry for the delay, I had something else come up and had to be out again for a few weeks.

The way overdub and reverse work in 3 hasn't changed. The overdub is recorded in reverse, so it will sound normal when you're in Reverse mode, and when you leave Reverse mode, it will sound reversed.
