If it's not one thing, it's another...

I'm sure this is beginning to sound like another "the dog ate my homework" story, but just when I was beginning to have some free time, my mother-in-law passed away and we are the only ones available to take care of her affairs and clear out the house to sell. I've been out of commission for the past few weeks, and this will continue for a few more.

The good news is, that once this is behind us I really don't foresee anything else happening for the remainder of the year so I can finally get back to doing what I want.

We're back from their home town in Iowa for a few weeks, so I'm catching up before we have to go back again. Thanks for the condolences, this was not unexpected (she was 94), but there will be a lot to do to clear the house and close out the estate.
