keyboard bindings

Hi,
I'm a new user! I tested the 3.28 version yesterday, I loved it and now I test the 3.47, but it's very different.
I can't use keyboard bindings, I really don't understand how it work. It was easy before, now it looks impossible. I slide the function, then I choose the letter, I save, but nothing happens.
You know before, I manage to do a simple system, I record the first track, and after I switch to the next track and it recorded as overdub mode, it was cool. But now the defi it's to do the same with these version.
I fixed some disfunctionnal basic function with script, I use it like a pedal looper, but with multiple tracks! But I upgrade my old version, because of problem with monitor audio.

I'm a newbie so take my advice with a grain of salt: Experiment a bit with how you save them, click "Capture" and then click your button you want to map, make sure it's in both the "Capture" and the "Key" fields and it should work. Also sometimes I have to set a bunch of bindings, stop program and restart and they will be there.

Thanks a lot for your answer, but I couldn't wait and I'vepreplaced the 3.47 by the 3.45, and after couple of days, I don't know why it's the same displays and menus, but it works well on it.
I manage to rebuild my "system" looper, made with the 3.28 save (in fact the configuration was saved in overlays I have to select, etc.) it works!
But now a new problem !
I'm going to make a new post, it's about the scripts and condition "if" ... and "=="
