Hi! Welcome! I know there is/was and option for outputs in build 28 that worked with ableton, for inputs I'm less sure because Ableton limits the channels to stereo so Jeff created additional available mics that were selectable in Ableton.
Is it possible to send all the sound in through one port and select the desired track when the appropriate instrument is playing and do it that way?
The standalone version allows you to do this for sure from your interface but of course that's not ideal because it's outside the DAW. I feel like there is/was an option for this though, I'll look at the old documentation to see if I can jog my memory.
