Pie alignment

Finally! I am starting the process to move to Mobius 3 ! Barely installed it and connect all my midi devices (that follow clock and control parameters) and I notice something tht I had noticed when I installed mobius 3 before on a different junk pc, and that is that the pie and the "metered" bar don't align with the midi clock being triggered. It's offset behind. The devices are catching the tempo just right. and when I come out of recording it doesn't seem to have "eaten" anything in terms of latency. It's just the visual, the screen feedback seems late. This install is in a new pc. that has decent specs. Any thoughts? is there a new setting in Mobius about this? I'm curious because mobius 2.5 on a dinosaur era pc never did this..

Most of the UI has a 1/10 second refresh rate so yes, it can seem to lag a little. The beater circles are refreshed faster, I can tighten up the pies and the loop meter bar. This does not effect sync, it's just visual.

jeff yes, I agree with the beater circles being faster, forgot to mention that. If the visual feedback of the pies and meter bar can be faster, I'd really appreciate it!🙌 I'm really excited of finally moving forward over here👌

I noticed that the refresh rate can be smoother on the pie whenever I click away from the current track, but it always gets rougher when I click back on the current running loop.

@Leftyloopy Exciting to hear how you guys move forward with it! You should try out MIDI Tracks. Fun, the way they can be routed for playback of virtual synths or external hardware. Lots of cool stuff in there, you're in for a treat!

alexs1 we are excited, too. I'm slowly starting to do some bindings, but struggling with scripts. For some reason, the few that I imported are not triggering whatsoever.. They are ols .mos scripts.
So, this will probably a slow transition. We still have our 2.5 in our old dinosaur-era-pc, and we are planning to still do our sessions on that one until I can move all the scripts and functions that we need. I'll be asking lots of questions, but I'm trying to troubleshoot things myself so I can spare Jeff the million questions. 😂😂
Even though I love the new one, it feels completely new and hard for me to figure it all out yet.
