Does the forum platform have any RSS?

Lately I've been obsessed with RSS and wanted to check if there's any way to add Mobius forum posts to my reader, like for latest posts and for specific tags. Nbd if not, just thought I'd check seeing as it's a public forum!

I'll look into it and see if it's easy to install. There was some concern about it causing excessive network hits for larger forums, the first guy put in a 5 hour delay, but this forum is pretty small.

Cool. I realize RSS has become fairly uncommon, but it feels cleaner(?) than opening bookmarks or tabs, especially with a nice reader and proper filtering habits.

There seem to be two threads of chatter surrounding RSS, 1) getting Flarum to read RSS feeds and convert those into forum posts, and 2) getting Flarum to be an RSS feed and tell people when new forum posts are made which is what I think you want. This looks promising...

I've never used RSS, but from a quick glance, this would allow you to configure your RSS reader to hit the Mobius forum site using URLs like mobiuslooper.com/forum/public/rss/discussions. Does that fit with what you were thinking?

What I think is going to be hard is notifications I've seen in other systems, where if you are the author of a post, you will automatically receive notifications when anyone replies to that post. I think this RSS feed would give you everything, whether or not you had any involvement in the original post or one of the replies. Still it might be useful as a quick "has anything happened?" since this forum doesn't have a lot of activity.

Yeah, if it's not hard to implement, that kind of RSS is pretty much what I had in mind: a main feed of new forum posts. If I'm the author of a post, I'm ok with just following the topic with email notification updates.

I think that makes the most sense as a forum with public visibility, as opposed to private forum feeds that require login credentials to be read (most RSS readers ime don't allow subscribing to authorized feeds).
